Because I&#039;ve read people talking about their ebook sales as being in the very low hundreds, and SFF readers are the early adopters.</description>

Well, the Kindle best sellers list is a pretty motley bunch; a very large chunk are free. The freebies seem to be split between stuff long out of copyright and modern romances.
